Each Deck Pullover Hoodie in the OYSTR-WASH starts with premium cotton fleece that is professionally jet-dyed to achieve a deep, even Cobalt Blue with excellent colorfastness. This mill-dye process drives pigment fully into the fiber, creating a stable base shade that holds up through wear and wash without compromising the natural hand of the cotton.
From there, every piece spends twenty-eight days and twenty-eight nights sealed in an oyster bag and submerged in Nantucket’s tidal water, following the Harvest Moon cycle. Salt, current, and sun take over—softening the fleece and giving the black a lived-in, tidal character with quiet variations you cannot fake or repeat.
The fit is relaxed with an easy, dropped-shoulder shape—meant for pulling on after the water when you want something warm, heavy, and dependable.
Made from 450 GSM California-milled cotton fleece, pre-shrunk and silicone-free so it breaks in naturally and keeps its honest hand. No drawstring to get snagged on deck or pulled out in the dryer. Washer and dryer friendly. Finished with a satin neck label and a discreet size/wash/MADE IN USA tag at the inner hip seam.
