Coatue-Wash · Puff Print
Each crewneck in the COATUE-WASH begins with a hand dye on Nantucket using natural red madder root, producing earthy reds and muted rust tones that settle unevenly into the fleece. From there, the garment is sealed in an oyster bag and submerged off Nantucket for twenty-eight days and twenty-eight nights, following the full Harvest Moon cycle.
Salt, current, and sun soften the fabric and introduce subtle tonal movement across the surface—organic shifts shaped by water, light, and time. No two pieces emerge the same.
After washing, each crewneck is screen printed by hand using puff paint, creating a raised, tactile mark that sits above the fabric rather than soaking into it. The print retains dimension and softness, designed to wear in gradually without cracking or flattening.
The fit is relaxed and easy—built for post-ocean warmth. Heavy, dependable, and broken-in from day one.
Made from 450 GSM California-milled cotton fleece, pre-shrunk and silicone-free so the fabric ages honestly and develops its own seaworn hand. Washer and dryer friendly. Finished with a satin neck label and a discreet size / wash / MADE IN USA tag at the inner hip seam.
