Garments are sealed inside oyster bags and secured within floating cages, where they remain at the surface—fully exposed to sun, saltwater, and steady tidal motion. The water here is constantly moving but rarely violent, creating a controlled, even working of the fabric over time.
This environment produces denim that is softened throughout while retaining structure. Fades develop gradually and evenly, with depth rather than abrasion. Contrast is present, but balanced—shaped more by duration and light than impact.
