RYDER JACKET · STRAWBERRY MOON · COATUE-WASH
DETAILS
The Ryder Jacket is our interpretation of the classic American work jacket—built from deadstock 14oz Cone Mills White Oak Redline Selvedge Denim and cut and sewn in Los Angeles. Inspired by mid-century workwear, it features a structured silhouette that softens and develops character through years of wear.
This edition enters our COATUE-WASH SeaWash process during the Strawberry Moon. Each jacket is sealed within an oyster bag and submerged in the deep tidal waters off Coatue, where steady harbor currents, saltwater, and early summer sun gradually transform the denim over twenty-eight days and twenty-eight nights.
Unlike the more aggressive Jetty-Wash, the COATUE-WASH produces a darker, more uniform finish with subtle softening throughout the body. Indigo depth is preserved while the fabric develops a broken-in hand and quiet tonal variation that can only be achieved through prolonged exposure to the sea.
No two jackets emerge exactly alike. Every piece carries its own record of tide, current, and time.
