COATUE-WASH

COATUE-WASH denim is aged within a shallow tidal pool fed by a narrow tributary.

This environment floods and drains with the tide, leaving garments alternately submerged and resting in silt-heavy water. The bottom is muddy rather than sandy—fine sediment settles slowly into the fabric before washing away again with the next cycle.

There is little wave action here. Instead, time, sediment, and brackish water do the work. The result is denim with softer transitions, warmer tone shifts, and subtle irregularity. Fades are less about contrast and more about atmosphere.

COATUE-WASH reflects quiet movement and accumulation.
It is the most restrained and textural expression of maritime aging.
